Wave Wave —Unit Dish
 
“Unit Dish” —— The disordered dishes can be united as one —— Order is the totality of disorder
This series is inspired by water waves. Different natural factors affect the different shapes of water waves, I used random combinations of nine different waves in one piece to show the endless possibilities of nature.

Material: Ceramics with white/black glaze

Notes:

​​The idea comes from "Wave". Before I made the final model of "Wave", I did a 4mm thin piece fist. During the time I was making it, it is quite hard to keep it without it breaking or cracking. So I got the idea, just follow nature. Let them crack and make them crack more to become different pieces like dishes. Then they can become one unit together as well.

It also echoed my concept, different parts of dishes look disorded, but they are still ordered if you see them as a unit. As Marx and Engels said, in nature, there is always order and regularity in all the disorder.
